BJ Kiser-Lucy

Head Coach

Hello, I would like to introduce myself, my name is BJ Kiser-Lucy, I have been married to

Anthony for 16 years, we have one daughter Jaci Jo, she attends Springtown Middle School,

she plays basketball and runs track.

I have been coaching for 22 years, with my love and passion for the sport I am excited to start

my journey coaching select basketball at Texas Lone Star. As a former college basketball

player, I began my playing career at Connor’s State College before continuing at Jacksonville

University in Alabama. After finishing my playing career at East Central University, I stayed on

as a Graduate Assistant Coach, gaining invaluable insight into coaching and team development.

After college, I transitioned into coaching, starting as the Varsity Assistant Basketball Coach at

Arlington High School. Over the course of 6 years, I worked with both the girls’ basketball and

softball programs, developing a strong foundation in coaching at the high school level. Following

that, I was promoted to Head Girls Basketball Coach at Arlington High School, where I served

for 3 years, leading the program to new heights.

I then took on the role of Girls’ Coordinator, Head Basketball and Track Coach at Willkie Middle

School in Eagle Mountain, where I spent 6 years building strong student-athletes and helping

them achieve their potential both on and off the court. Following that, I served as the Girls’

Coordinator, Head Basketball, and Track Coach at Marine Creek, continuing to foster excellence

in young athletes for 3 years.

Currently, I am serving as the 8th Grade Girls Basketball and Track Coach at Springtown Middle

School while also serving as the Varsity Girls Basketball Assistant Coach at Springtown High

School. With a strong commitment to developing young athletes, I have dedicated myself to

shaping well-rounded individuals and building competitive teams throughout their career.

As I embark on the next chapter of my coaching journey, I am excited to join the Texas LoneStar Basketball family. With a passion for the game and a strong belief in building players with

high morals and work ethic, I am thrilled to contribute to an organization that shares the same

values and commitment to excellence in youth sports
